I have been trying to educate myself on using autostitch to create panoramas with my new Kodak Z7590 digicam, when I became aware of this:

Paris by night

...WOW

Cool, that'd be nice to print out, though I'd have to split up the image to fit on multiple sheets of paper.

While nice in a technical sense of blended stitches and correct exposure throughout, I don't like how it gets upclose to the wall when it's an obvious landscape, the construction, and the antenna.

Plotter + Roll + Photo Paper FTW;)

Although, the resolution isn't that great. Vertical is only 550px or so.

cool image... but it would be better if it didn't have that annoying music on that page and if it was a real image, not a splice of images.

Too bad the skyline doesnt look like that in houston or arlington. The architecture is amazing there.

How would you propose making a "real" image of that? It can't be done any other way.

i prefer the stitched panorama my friend took of his grandmother in her living room. He didn't plan it, but somehow samuel l. jackson was on her TV screen shouting something.

Well... the thing is that those shots are different shots from different places, not a bunch of shots taken from a single point looking in different directions. It's more of a collage than a true panorama.
