The most popular library books in America

Not surprisingly, weight loss books occupy 3 slots on that list....

Looks like left-wing propoganda is popular at the moment.

It appears that the quadrennial silly season is a good time to sell political drivel.

I like it... sit on your ass reading about losing weight 😛 I picture fat people, wearing glasses, looking up after a week or two of intense reading and going "Eureka! diet & exercise!!!"

Since when was a book the Bush Administration recommends people buy (Plan of Attack), a book by a Republican administration appointee (Against All Enemies), and a book by a Republican former Treasury Secretary (The Price of Loyalty) considered left-wing propaganda?

I think that you should scan the list again.

Al Franken's book is at the bottom of that list. I assume that's what you mean? The only other liberally-biased book would be Dean's, which is behind a book the Bush admin recommends and behind the book of a Republican appointee.

Check out number four on the list: Eats, Shoots & Leaves. Just like the punchline to that joke, but it's a grammar book. I have to read it. To the library!

heh...I bought that book recently. Haven't gotten to it yet. 🙂

Oops, I used ... instead of a "," or, better yet, a ".". Oooh...should that last period have really been there? 😕

Maybe I should move that book higher up on the queue! 😀

No kidding? I just ordered it from Amazon, along with Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris. I dunno, my sister recommended it.

I am looking forward to some punctuation lovin'.

It should probably be mandatory reading before posting up here!
