1/4 c sugar (for rimming glasses)
1 c orange juice
1 tbsp heavy cream
1 bottle champagne, prosecco, or cava

Mix cream and juice. Rim glass with sugar. Pour cream and juice into glass, leaving a little room Top with champagne.

I dunno. Sounded really gross at first. Then I started thinking how much I love creamcicles / 50-50 bars / dreamcicles / etc. I even have several bottles of eJuice flavor like that...

Then I started thinking how much better it would be with rum instead of champagne. So I guess I need to stop at the store on the way home tonight. Sigh.

when you buy the juice buy the cheap brand the crappy orange juice taste better mixed in my experience. More sugar and taste more fruity somehow. The real juice make the drink more sour.

That sounds pretty good, but it's probably only something like 2% alcohol. I've seen them made with vodka and triple sec, which would actually make it somewhat worth consuming.

I worked in restaurants in my early 20's. Well actually started when I was 15 as a busboy.

But at a couple restaurants I worked at in the city, we'd all get a shift drink on the house. Guys be ordering Guinness or Makers Mark on the rocks - real manly drinks. I'd pipe up and say 'Malibu and pineapple please'. Without a care in the world. I always hated beer and still do. Wine I can tolerate but barely.

Now my drinks of choice are Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, Jack n coke or Margaritas done with only fresh juice, Vodka and orangeade. I will try the bars house specialty cocktails as well. That's it.
