what is lame is that the genre has not changed in at least a decade. it has become the same recycled beats over and over with no new creativity. when i was going to raves in the mid 90s there was at least a noticable difference between various DJs and each had their own style.
Even though I am into producing more than DJing, but I have to say, there is much more to it than meets the eye, I have been playing Trance music (as a hobby) for a while, however I once stumbled across a demo DJing set in a guitar center, I thought it would be easy, I just couldn't get what I thought I am supposed to get, remember in DJing you are mixing two or more discs / vinyls at the same time and making them sound as one coherent track, as I said it's not what you think it's like.Originally posted by: Rage187
