It's the LCD display on the new high-end Toshiba laptop. UXGA I thikn they're calling it? 1600x1200 on a 15" display. I'll tell you, it's so bright and colourful, crisp and sharp! I thought it was a fake laptop with a bright plastic screen... then the screen changed and I was all "HOLY SMOKES!!" :Q :D :D

I have honestly NEVER need a screen look this good.... It (and the DVD-burner) explains why it's 50% more expensive than other P4 laptops. :D

We need THAT tech in a standalone LCD for the desktop!

Personally on a laptop with a smaller screen (say 15") I find UXGA and WUXGA virtually unreadable and headache inducing...

Two words: Large. Fonts.

;)

You can increase them about as much as you'd like. I found with standard large fonts it was perfect.
Resolution aside, I still have never seen a display look so vibrant and gorgeous!! No CRT or LCD over looked this good! Wow......

If I won a lottery.... :D

Large fonts don't work so well when on the internet, as most of the time text is aligned with graphics, increasing the font can break the layout.

All right. Screw 15". My point is the technology resulted in a GORGEOUS screen quality. I'd love to see that made into 17" and 19" desktop LCD's!
