Apparently there seems to be a Morality Mod that prohibits the discussion of the origins of moral behavior in our society. I've posted two threads about this subject. The first was locked and I can see the reasoning behind it as it was not worded as objective as it should have been. The second thread was posted in complete objectivity asking for reasoned and rational responses. This thread was not locked, it was deleted!
Why is it okay to talk about religion, politics, what you ate for dinner, what the new ugly car is, why you have a headache, or who has a better ass, britney or shakira? But I make a ligitimate thread about the origin and roots of morality in society and this thread gets deleted? It can't be because of the waste of bandwidth given other asinine threads that aren't deleted.
I'd like to hear from the Morality Mod about this.
While I am not the mod who locked the thread, I can add this to help with your concerns:
Threads are locked for several reasons. One of the most common is that a thread has degenerated into something we do not wish to have on our forums. Another is that a member appears to be "trolling" for responses from other members. The reason your second thread was locked is because your first one appeared to be one of the "trolling" variety - we are not interested in allowing such activity on our forums. In simpler terms, you made yourself out to be a bit of a troll, either accidentally or purposely, in the first instance, and consequently, further new topics on the same line of subject from you are highly suspect, especially when they are posted within a very small amount of time.
