Funny how you read these 4G speed test articles for your city and they always show speeds way faster than real life.

The reason for your slow ass speeds is your saturated. Every time I go to Albuquerque I can't get shit to download (or open).

I live in the sticks and I have 4G. I just ran a speed test at 12.26 down, 1.72 up.

I had T-mobile and got around 14 mbps, switched to Fi and still get the same, however I suspect that I am on Sprint's but speed seems to be same.

Unless you have a unlimited data plan does it matter getting over 2-3 down these days? :(

I'd be happy as a clam with 3 down. Just ran the speedtest again and I'm getting less than 1 mb download speed.

Sucks you have crappy signal at your location.

Not the fastest but it's from my desk at home. Good enough for netflix/hulu/xbmc/tethering. At work it jumps to 30-35Mbps. So streaming at the office if needed.

This was my very first test. WiFi is disabled. Waaaay faster than my home Internet service.

iPhone 6s Plus
AT&T LTE 4 of 5 bars
30263, south-west of Atlanta
WiFi disabled
Speedtest.net mobile app
98.85 Mbps download
14.88 Mbps upload
!!!

[edit]

I think AT&T was teasing me. The next 2 tests were slower.

PING:46ms,DL:98.85mbps,UL:14.88mbps
PING:39ms,DL:79.90mbps,UL:11.36mbps
PING:31ms,DL:75.86mbps,UL:19.06mbps

All from the same spot, holding the phone the same way.

I rarely use data, given the small caps, I find it's one of those "nice to have" things for if I'm not in wifi range which is rare and when I do use it I kinda have to minimize what I do. ex: youtube is out.

So can't complain:

On Wifi:

donwload fi spy to see what network you are on.

i have fi as well, and manually switched over to sprint lte and i got a sad 1mbs down and .05 mbps up, on lte, in the nyc metro area.

sprint really really sucks.

T-mobile, in Houston. 16 down, 30 up.

That's the highest upload speed I've seen here.

Hey that's an improvement over Sprint in my area. Granted, it was three years ago that I took advantage of the 14 day buyer remorse where they might have upgraded an antenna, but the S3 I was trialing with them at the time was pulling 200-600Kbps and couldn't play streaming radio. My little prepaid T-Mobile was averaging 12Mbps at the time so it was a fairly sizable downgrade. Refuse to entertain the idea of Sprint.

Wow, that's fast and the ping isn't atrocious either. How long until we don't need Wifi or RG6/fiber and just all use cell towers...

not going to ever happen with current spectrum limitations
