Holding up the wheels and gears of democracy by the technicality of simply not doing your job.
I mean, its quite obvious isnt it, this doctrine is "What democracy? Nope, not here, fuck you."
The McConnell Doctrine adopted by Trumpist cultism and you're certainly heading toward some kind of culmination.

To me this does not seem right. I can’t think of any way such actions can be justified or defended. I also think it is happening because the Democrats never hold them responsible for their actions. As a result and because I think such actions amount to sedition I believe Biden should tell the legislature and the court to undo what they have done or face a declaration of martial law with them being renditioned to Guantanamo Bay where they can protest in a 'properly veted' military court, composed, that is, of real American patriots, not wannabe fascists.

The aim, of course, would have to be to save the country from authoritarianism, but dispassionately and without any need for condemnation or rage because the danger these Republicans pose to our system is beyond despute or doubt. No need to hype oneself up into a righteous frinzy. Just provide accountability commensurate with the crime.

So long as we don't view each Repub controlled state as a dictatorship that needs to be re-democratized into alignment with The Constitution, their grip on power with keep increasing and spreading. Well if you truly believe dems to be space demons, I guess you could say you were justified. It also matters who the judge is, cause if the only judge you recognize is that of your peers, it doesnt really matter what anyone else outside of that set thinks. About dems never holding them accountable, point in case: Garland. Mueller. Rosenstein.

its not his doctrine. all he did was study thousands of years of politics and learn how other people manipulated the system to get what they want. This is nothing new. Its the same old game being replayed over and over. Mostly because the average American didnt pay attention in history class and doesnt understand the cycle. And the best part of the cycle is its self fulfilling. Ignorant people become fearful, dont trust proper education or logic, get more ignorant from generation to generation, and the society in question only gets worse. If you dont learn to think for yourself, you won't even identify it when its pointed out to you. I am no fan of Moscow Mitch. The Kentucky Senator wished Barack Obama to fail as POTUS, which meant he hoped the country would fail. McConnell made no secret that he was determined Obama would be a one-term President.

While 44's brilliance and loyal supporters thwarted Mitch, the Senate Majority Leader set about ensuring the most noxious and extremist federal judges were seated.

Who can support a fool who hopes the country they live in fails?

When asked if the U.S. should apologize and offer Reparations for Black Slavery, this dunderhead had the friggin' nerve to claim that Obama's election (which he stridently opposed), is part of those Reparations.

McConnell also reasoned it will be immensely difficult to identify which Black Americans are directly entitled to any Reparations. This is because massa and his wives didn't care about their field hands enough to keep accurate records most of the time.

But there is a sure way to get around this.

Since the vile, cruel and lasting effects of centuries of Chattel Slavery are still with us, Randall G. Robinson in his book: "The Debt," points out a tax holiday, low cost or free college or trade school tuition available for all Blacks would solve this dilemma easily.

By the way, you may want to know McConnell's own descendants owned Black Slaves.
