Stupid Mormons...
Nice generalization, buddy. But as a Mormon myself, I think what he did (at least all the lying he's done) is pretty ridiculous; so I guess he is a stupid Mormon.

SaltBoy is mormon.

I love it. People are murdered everyday, children are kidnapped and raped, and old people are mugged and beaten to death. Do you hear about it? No.

Sandy Berger stole classified documents. Is that covered in the media? It was, for a day. Then the next day the Lorie Hacking (sp?) case came out and God forbid we let an hour go by without a 20 minute block devoted to a missing woman in Utah.

I'll never understand the media. Don't get me wrong - it is a great tragedy to lose anyone, anywhere, for any reason and I feel really bad for her family as well as the woman herself, rather she be in heaven or wherever right now - but it's a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

I guess the media also didn't report that he was cleared of Document Theft.

some link

That's not my point; you appear to missing it.

(PS you're not the only one who reads the Wall Street Journal on this thread)

It's called selective reading. Most people do it. I can guranteed that if she was a poor black woman, we wouldn't be reading about her. poor asian, poor white woman even. or an ugly rich woman. perhaps.

Any more new news on this case?

This morning while I was driving in, I heard on the news that the search has been called off and they're going to look in the landfill area again, something about the husband "probably" killed her on the bed.

What would motivate that guy to kill her if he really did?

They show the picture of the couple and the guy reminded me of someone on AT. 😱

What would motivate the wanker to lie about going to college and being accepted to medical school? He's fecked up in the head, most likely.

*cough* Walleye *cough*

?
Care to explain?

Wow, a mentally unstable man kills his pregnant wife... so what.

These stories are starting to piss me off. Who really cares? Do you know the person? Who cares? I don't. If my wife/sister/mom got murdered while pregnant, I wouldn't want the story on national news.

Just curious, does anyone here think the husband didn't kill his wife?

From what I've heard he sounds guilty as hell.

No one has enough information to make that call, I'm not saying he didn't do it, but I'm also not saying he did it, to make such a proclamation only knowing that the woman is missing and they no longer believe her to be alive is ridiculous.

Uh, no it isn't ridiculous. His actions are not those of an innocent man.

Obviously, the police have enough information to make that call.

I suspect that he is not crazy. I believe he pulled the whole "run around naked outside of a motel" bit to try and add weight to that theory though, as he realized his perfect crime was anything but. It would not be the first time such a thing was done.

I agree with this. Besides, what makes her case special? I'm sure there are other women out there who are missing and were pregnant when they went missing. I just wonder why the media chooses to 'enlighten' us to certain real life soap operas and leave us in the dark on others.

...The under achieving loser in the family who can't accept the notion of being less than what his brother and father are.

Bout time they arrested him. I've been saying that for the longest time all they needed was a cattle prod and the husbands testicles to find the body...

Same would have been true for Dru Sodjin's killer as well.

Sometimes I wonder about all the freedoms and liberties we give to obvious murderers.
