I agree that this is a good platform, but this is something that infuriates me at the state and local levels in areas that are "solidly blue": stop being local fuck-ups. You need to step up and show that government can run efficiently and effectively, and be responsive to constituent needs. It makes it easier to sell these things in federal elections when you can point to the state-level successes.Whichever D runs in 28 should not promise to fix any of this without legislation from congress majorly modifying executive power to fuck up the government because I'm tired of Republican presidents shitting the bed on purpose and we have to spend years cleaning it up.
