The missing 64bit WIN7 Ultimate Upgr disk

Talk about having egg on your face, my face is an egg, no pun intended.

We were away over thanksgiving and on return found that UPS had attempted to pick up the questioned software package as the EGG had filed a claim for damage in transit.

My wife and I were discussing the issue and she picked up the software package opened it and exclaimed -"HERE'S THE 64 BIT DISK!"- Needless to say, I about fell through the floor. The two disks had stuck together and when I looked I removed both disks and thought the second disk was missing!

I have tried as best I could to apoligize to the EGG for my implications and asked them to drop their claim against UPS and recharge my account for the original shipment and I will keep it for a future P55 build. I also want to apoligize to all here who took an interest in my apparently non-existent plight.

Without the heat of excitement on receiving a software package with the shrink wrap opened and the COA split, I examined the container closely and carefully. It looks like by fine cuts on the cardboard outer container that when the original carton containing X number of software packages was opened, the box cutter nicked the package I received piercing the shrinkwrap across the top of the carton containing the plastic disk holder. I also see that if sufficient weight is placed on the packaging as can happen in shipping in a padded envelope the edges of the plastic disk container will spread at the top - opening the COA.

I cannot apoloigize enough to all that may have seen my original posts. Forgive me if you will, and in the future I will play detective better before sounding a questionable alarm about a possible theft.

Wasn't the shrinkwrap / COA sticker cut? Your original thread sounds like the box was still tampered with, possibly someone in the chain installed it and popped it back in the box.
