The milk's gone bad!

Uhmm..yeah..you do understand that the date on Milk is often the "sell by" date? Not only that, but if smells fine and tastes ok, then it isnt bad.

Edit: I am retarded.

Yeah, I don't get that part, either.

I understand that, but this time it really has gone bad. It smells like, well, bad milk. I was surprised that it spoiled only two days after the sell-by date.

Edit: You're not retarded.

Oh, well yeah, if it smells bad, that sucks.

Thanks.

Last summer once I went to pour milk into my cereal and forgot to smell it, and when it came out, it was chunky, and smelt horrid. After I finished containing the dry heave, it scarred me. I don't think I have had more than 4 or 5 bowls of cereal since, and I used to eat a bowl a day.

Right before spring break we ran outta milk here. There are 4 of us living in my 4 bedroom apartment. So basically, within 48 hours before leaving for break, we ALL went out and purchased milk, because we are used to having some, not really thinkin of the fact that we were all leaving.

Basically it ended up with us coming back from spring break to like 3-4 gallons of expired milk, 2 gallons unopened.

We suck.

Thats why you buy Horizon Milk 🙂

What makes Horizon milk special? Is that the one with the cow jumping on the label?

now its just cheese...just put some in your sandwich and enjoy!

I'm keeping it above the oven so it can curdle properly! Mmm-mmm! Yogurt!

its organic and comes in a cardboard type container with a plastic spout.

It is also supposed to be used before 7 days after you open it, it is ok if you go over a few days.

And you understand that rarely does milk last for one month after the sell by date, let alone two, right?

The OP was 3 days after the expiration date.

It would be fun to bump this thread once a month and see the responses.
