So I was cruising through Smith's a few days ago picking up some frozen pizzas when I spot something in the meat section. "Boneless barbeque rib-shaped sandwich patties". (or something similar) I get a little closer and lo and behold they look remarkably like the fabled McRib sandwiches from McD's. I was eager to try them but they only came in packs of 6, but I figured what the hell and grabbed a box. Last night I cooked them -- had to do all 6 at once for an hour in the oven  -- and it turns out they're almost indistinguishable from McRibs! Just get yourself some deli rolls and put these on 'em and you have it! They're made by a company called Oncor and they go for about $5 per pack of 6 if I remember right. They're so damn good. Go get them! Now! I said now!!!

Everyone talked about how good those McRibs were...I thought they were terrible! And to help you gauge things, I think liver and head cheese taste good :)

Dunno what the nutiritional info is on the stuff since I'm not at home. The main ingredient in the patties was actually pork if I remember right. Might have been beef. Definitely some kind of meat. (Of course technically Jello is a meat)

dude... i'm so there. but we don't have Smith's in San Diego. i'm guessing Albertson's or Von's should have it. since i'm not obese or anything, i guess i'm gonna go get some.

I'm pretty sure Vons is owned by the same company that owns Smith's. If not I know there's some grocery store in the SoCal area that's owned by the same company. Regardless one of 'em will probably have it.
