The MB beeper, where does it go?

I have a biostar 945p-a7a
where does the beeper go? the round black button shaped thing with a plug on it.
where does it plug in?
i need this dont i?

From your description, that sounds like a speaker. Normally, motherboards don't have those; they are on the case, and the case's "speaker" connector plugs into the motherboard.

Can you post a picture of this thing and it's connector?

It sounds like he's talking about a piezoelectric speaker, I've seen MB's with a little black button looking thing with the plug that attaches to the front panel part of the MB where the power button, etc plugs in. Some manufacturers ship it separately instead of physically attached to the board. Check the MB documentation, it should say in there where to plug it in (good luck by the way).

like arcex said, there should be 4 pins for it to plug on to near where you plug in the power button, reset button, HD light, and power light
