Alot of people seem to forget that the cast who were 'awakened' (Neo Trinity and Morpheus) weren't meant to be perfect, they were supposed to be flawed characters so replacing them with Matt damon and Jessica Alba would have lost the plot a little.
Needs to keep the raw/rough feeling.
