Personally, I think they are not that good... a few good songs... Intertaitic ESP and Roulette Dares are good casue they dont break out into that slow crap like the rest of their songs. A lot of my friends are obsessed with them, and personally, I think they suck. Anyone else?

Edit: gave it another listen and decided Inertiatic ESP and Roulette Dares are amazing....but thats it
 
They are very out there.... the lead singer could be amazing if the music was any good... Like i said... they get way too softy too many times on their music... it makes it hard to listen to. They try to incorp. big words into their songs and it usually ends up making it suck even more cause they dont know how to use them correctly!

half of the songs on the album I have are under one minute and feature no guitar at all!

In response to your question, yeah I think they are pretty good. Interested to hear their new album which is coming out soon.

Like causearuckus said, their guitarist is amazing. Sometimes their songs do drag on a bit, but I still like them.
 
Many of my friends are into them, but I'm definatly not.
I would usually be the one inclined to like this type of music, but the songs are just awful, drawn out, psuedo psychedelic, borefests.

Mabey they should write a song under 5 minutes, and make it good.
 
I've never really liked Cedric's (the lead singer) lyrics, in At the Drive In or Mars Volta. Aside from that they are a great band.
 
Hmm i seem to like them...and hopefully if all goes according to plan i shall see them at Bonnaroo along with Modest Mouse, Rilo Kiley, and Dave Mathtews Band

Though I pretty much only listen do Death Metal, Doom Metal, Thrash Metal, Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Progressive Metal, Black Metal, and Grindcore.

It took me a few listens to appreciate it more... I don't think it's an album where one listen is enough 🙂
