My 4 year old son has found that the cardboard applicators make good miniature blowguns and the cotton tampons themselves are good pillows for his green army guys.

Admit it... you all got caught playing with your Mom's personal stuff when you were little! What uses did YOU find for feminine/beauty products around the house?

:D

I never got caught playing with anyone's personal items when I was a kid.

Come to think of it, I haven't played with a woman's personal items in a long time.

They always came in handy when my girlfriends started their periods!

Now Vaseline is a whole different story!

Hmmm...

Well, maybe your mothers all wisely kept this information from you so as not to scar your tender psyches?

:D ;)

I've always wondered about the blue dye you see in commericals.

Oh and no, I've never played with them.

I used to keep pads in my first aid kits. They make excellent bandages for cuts and whatnot when backpacking. Also I used to teach safety classes for knives, axes, saws, etc... when I was in scouts, I always kept them around because people don't listen when you tell them something is sharp.

Excellent bandages, very absorbant and designed for blood. :)

I've seen motorcycle engines with holes in the crankcases plugged with Tampax. Temporarily, of course. Gotta watch out for toxic shock.

Yep ... when I worked as a whitewater guide we used to keep them in the kits. Great for head lacerations you get when the idiots ... I mean customers ... skip a paddle off the water trying to splash their buddy. Does have an "image" downside though ... try telling a drunk cop that you're going to strap a maxipad on the side of his head in front of all his other drunk cop buddies

Heh, try telling a scoutmaster why you strapped a maxipad to his son's arm/foot/hand/etc... :) Good times that are much funnier now that I look back on it. :)
