Thankfully my brother got me this on Blu-Ray, which I wanted due to it apparently having remastered versions of all three films ('The Good, The Bad and the Ugly', 'A Fistful of Dollars' and 'A Few Dollars More').
I was a little surprised when I saw the certificate ratings these films have been given in the UK:
The Good, The Bad and the Ugly: 18
'A Fistful of Dollars' and 'A Few Dollars More': 15
Admittedly I wasn't a huge fan of AFOD but I know AFDM pretty well and yet I can't honestly think that there's much content difference between GBU and AFDM in terms of giving them different ratings (the UK ratings system in this case means that a 15 certificate is for 15-year-olds and older, 18 for 18 y.o.).
I then remembered that many films have a greater breakdown on the back of the cover telling you why it has been rated in this way, usually breaking down into four groups (IIRC: language, sexual content, violence, can't remember the last one).
AFDM's explanation for being a 15: 'Strong violence'
BGU's explanation for being an 18: 'Moderate violence'
... that helped!
