The Man Who Sold the Bomb

Ah, Pakistan our ally.

What a great friend.

Pakistan is actually shielding him from persecution from America or anyone else. Remember, this filth is the father of Pakistan's nuke program.

I've read he has given aid and nuclear weapons know-how to Egypt, Iran, Lybia, Saudi Arabia and possibly other evil regimes in that region.

Right now there is only one Islamic bomb, but thanks to Pakistan another Islamic nuclear bomb might be well on its way.

And Bush made Pakistan a major non-NATO ally?

What's amusing is that the U.S. invaded Iraq because they allegedly had WMD's and were allegedly selling them to other rogue states.

Pakistan *has* spread WMD to known anti-American rogue states, and Bush still calls them an "ally".

Real smart foreign policy we have there. I'm sure the rogues out there are thinking the same: pay lip service to Uncle Sam once in a while like the Pakis do, and you can do all the anti-American stuff you want. 😕

BS article. India, quite sensibly IMO, is no friend of Israel's. India was the fist non-ME country to recognize a Palestinian state. From what I have read in the past, the U.S has directly helped Pakistan and India with nuclear technology. Russia has also helped India with nuclear technology, but a significant portion of India's nuclear and related technology is indigenous.

Furthermore, Pakistan has attacked India 4 times in the last 58 years. As far as India is considered, Pakistan, atleast in the past, has been an aggressor. Moreover, India's armed forces are strictly under civilian control - even more so than the U.S'. The author is a self-confessed Pakistan-lover - nothing wrong with that. But the tone of his article suggests that Pakistan is justified in have a nuclear weapons programme to counter India's. But fact remains that India has never attacked Pakistan first. India also has a no-first-strike policy - something that Pakistan doesn't. India has a bigger threat from China, which is a close friend of Pakistan and contributes to its military programme. There is simply no way India could attack Pakistan without facing repurcussions from China (and Pakistan's new and former master, the United States). Personally, I believe any country is entitled to do whatever it takes to safeguard its borders. But Pakistan's nuclear programme is not confined to self-defense. And for an aggressor to claim that it needs to protect itself, there is a much simpler solution - don't frickin' keep attacking your far stronger neighbour.

Actually, Israel and India have very strong ties. In the recent years, Israel and India have been exchanging military knowledge, India has sold some light helicopters to Israel while Israel is about to sell or has already sold the Early warning system, Phalcon. Israel might sell UAV's to India along with missles for its fighter aircraft and equipment for India's homegrown tank, the Arjun. Israel is fast becoming India's chief supplier of weapons. They have signed cooperation deals to even support each others IT sector and to lure outside businesses.

Your correct in that most of India's knowledge of nuclear technology is indegenous but Russia has provided some support. Also, India has had nuclear weapons since 1974, when it first tested the atom bomb but only made it public in 1998. Your also correct in that Pakistan has attacked India 4 times in the past and lost each time. But there are daily incursions backed by Pakistan into Indian territory.

Yes, I am aware that Israel and India got a little bit closer and there have been weapons deals between the two in recent years. But it is extremely unlikely that Israel sold India stolen nuclear technology from the U.S. Moreover, there is no benefit to India in supporting Israel in the ME. Israel hardly backs India against Pakistan or China. India's support for Palestine keeps India off the target for more Islamic militancy, if nothing else.

Islamic terrorists have been striking India daily for quite some time now, its support for Israel doesn't play a factor. They didn't just get a little closer, their relationship has improved tremendously over the past few years. Israel might sell the advanced radar system to India that it denied to China, under US pressure of course.

Yes, anyone who says Israel sold India nuclear technology is a idiot.

Deny all you want, India-Israel ties have improved so much that these two countries are now strategic partners and are sharing advanced weapons technology. Israel might be the biggest arms dealer to India in the next few years.

What do you exactly mean Israel hardly backs India against Pakistan and China?

you guys should read "Wings of Fire" by Abdul Kalam, the father of India's space research and weapons program and India's current President. Apart from that, he's a stand up guy and an inspiration to Indians around the world, not only for his accomplishments, but for his character as well.
