yeah, wtf was sci fi thinking. I don't have a problem with showing the logo for a couple of seconds, but to have it for the entire show is f*cking annoying as ******.

There is a special level of hell reserved for the person who designed logo ads like this one, the designer of CD packaging will be there, and all the manufacturers of children's christmas toy packages.

Along with the guy that made those moulded plastic cases that all electronic stuff comes in nowadays, the one where you have to get an axe or chainsaw out cos the case mocks you as you fumble with scissors and knives trying to get at the shiny, most precious contents. Then once you get it open, no matter how careful you are, the POS manages to slice your fingers open and scream into your brain "I made you BLEED!".

i was watching some movie with subtitles the other day and it had that news ticker type thing at the bottom of the screen, but it was for an upcoming tv show, not news.

guess what it covered up? yeah, the subtitles...
luckily it was not during the whole movie and the movie didn't have constant subtitles but it ruined it enough to piss me off.
