I was wondering if lots of people would go see it on Easter Sunday since that's what the whole thing revolves around (or at least the 3 days prior). I saw it last weekend though.

Googlefight is cool!

Canada vs United States!

That's easily explained. On the net, one assumes a business or person is in the US, unless described as in another country. The default is the US, therefore it's put in text less than the names of other countries.

UK wins:

England wins:

Germany wins:

http://www.googlefight.com/cgi-bin/compare.pl?q1=united+states&q2=germany&B1=Make+a+fight%21&compare=1&langue=us

Australia wins:

I could go on, but you should get the point...

in other news about The Passion..
ive heard that the movie is a huge hit in the middle east.. that is very understandable though for several reasons...

1. the middle eastern media is marketing it as Anti-Semitic.. and as we all know, jews are very disliked in the middle east....
2. Jesus is the 2nd most important prophet to the those of Islamic faith...

Doesn't really make sense, does it? They say Jesus is an important prophet to their faith, but that he was not the son of God. Jesus said he was the son of God, so they have no problem with one of their major prophets being a blaspheming liar (by their standards)?

Yeah, he really blasted it. What did he give it, a half a star? He raised some valid points about the plot, but I don't think they were enough to warrant the bashing he gave.

Considering how he spent about 30 million on the movie, he has made almost 12 times that so far. All the negative publicity only heightened people's curiosities.
