I think about leaving from time to time, but I've gotten to a point where I can slack off for 20+ hours a week and still be miles ahead of anyone else. That should be every worker's goal.

I've gone 6 years, 1.5 years (left because they lost contract and had no more work for me), 6 months, 7 years, and now working on 2.5 years.

My pay increases were like $13k, $29k, $16k, and $35k. The larger ones I was kind of just in the right place at the right time.

i was told this year's raises are projected to be %2.5

if they really pull that after telling me to finish a 9 month project in 5 months, i'm definitely going job hunting

other signs that it’s time for a switch, such as disenchantment with the company’s values or management team, a feeling of anxiety or dread that sets in every Sunday evening, or fear that you’ll someday regret not making a change

shoot, i'm batting 1.000

I thought it was a little interesting they didn't cover anything about looking to move up in an organization. Sure it's not an option for everyone but many will have that chance

Proud to say I've been stripping now for 30 years and counting. 10 more and I should have enough squirreled away to buy the New York Yankees with an all cash offer.

32 years here. My goal is to close out this company, then either retire or get into treecare. I won't survey for anyone else. I traded money for freedom. I'm pretty cool with the way things worked out.

There's no rule. I've known people proud to say they've never had a job in their life. Other people are quite happy in the one job they had. There's so much dimension to what a job is in the first place, which makes the question totally absurd. What makes sense for one person makes no sense for another because people, situations and times vary so much.

I've been with the same company for 15 years. I can't complain, my pay has increased 450% in that time frame. It's challenging sometimes, but I've always had good managers and none have micromanaged me.

Bunch of sickos! I'm 67 and I'd rather see some young tight bodies. Not 200 pounds of cottage cheese in a pair of pantyhose.

I was like, duuude, 50 years old, there's some really nice 50 year old ladies out there; then remembered this was her 50 year stripping anniversary. .....

but hey, I wonder if that was a full life of stripping, or or she's been like emeritus for 20-30 or so of those years, just doing special gigs here and there, to keep up her Union membership?
