hi
i'm looking for memory to go with 2 of the Asus motherboards that have the 8 phase power supply, the M2N32 and the P5N32.
3 choices from Corsair, in the $170 to $250 range for 2 x 1GB ...
DDR2-675, 4-4-4-12 ... about $170

DDR2-800, 5-5-5-12 ... $198 + there's a rebate.

the Expensive stuff
DDR2-800, 4-4-4-12 ... $250

i don't know what CPU's i'll be using. i was going to wait for the Conroe introduction & then see how low the prices go.
the 2.4 GHz AM2 Athlon 3800 seems like a good choice, for the price as of July 13 of $146

and i would guess the introduction of the Conroe will knock the 950 Presler from the $300+ range to the $200 range. that's the 3.4 GHz dual core.
i have some Patriot 2 x 512 that is labelled 4-3-3-12 @ DDR 700 that will go on one of the MB's.
i'd like to have the memory support a 10% overclock, rock solid & reliable.
for heat sink i'll use the Noctua NH-12 or similar.
anyway, hearing about your experiences with any of these memories, especially with these motherboards, would be great.
