I had a something very similar to your London trip happen to me on the first date I had with a (now) ex-girlfriend a very long time ago. It was so bad that once we finally made it back to her place I had to call my parents to come pick me up because I couldn't drive home.

Was the most embarrassing thing I ever had happen on a date.😳
