The location of your windows files

ok yes i admit i'm a newb but the only way to become a non newb is to ask so i have a question


i am about to reinstall my OS and i have windows XP ...i want to keep all those usernames and passwords that windows has been so generous to keep handy for me ...if you could tell me where those are located in my computer i would be most greatful

The cookies are in the Internet Explorer Browser: Internet Explorer Browser > Tools > Internet Options > Settings > View Files...

In my Win2k system my cookies location is: D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

what about http access to websites?

are all these located in the cookies?

If You're reffering to Your Favorites, use Your search tool to find it; and then Copy and Paste it to where ever You want... Start > Search (in Win2k).
