'The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively' ????????

I just set up a brand new dell, and enabled the guest account. However, when I try to logon as guest to test it, it says 'The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively'.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Guest = bad

edit: Rather than just troll I'll provide a valid answer, it's probable that the local security policy is set to deny guest/guests local logon rights. The appropriate action would be to disable the guest account and do what any sane person would but you can go control panel/admin tools/local security policy, then check under user rights and deny logon locally.

Control Panel
Administrative Tools
Local Security Policy
Local Policies
User Rights Assignment

Make sure Guest is not in "Deny Logon locally"
Make sure Guest is in "Log on Locally

Why oh why would you do this? The guest account is now deprecated and disabled for a reason...

I am having the same issue, except after running several spyware scans and restarting my computer, I am unable to logon to my computer at all. Even when I type my password into the administrator login, I get the error message 'The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively'. How can I log back in to my computer????? The only solution I found online was "solution A" here: http://articles.techrepublic.c...-10878_11-5313668.html, but I don't understand how I can do any of that without accessing the actual computer.

PLEASE HELP!!!
