The Linksys WRT54GS v5

I currently have the WRT54GS v5 as I stated on the message title.
The problem I have encountered was that after upgrading the firmware, the router completely stopped working.
The power light constantly blinks,
Under "Ethernet" all 1, 2, 3, 4 lights are on as well the the "Internet" light.
I can't get hold of the router settings because it detects no connection.
I have getting a headache reading forums/getting help so if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

did you upgrade using the linksys firmware or a 3rd party?

I actually upgraded using the linksys firmware.

try assigning a static to your pc and using their tftp utility...stpe by step instructions here
