.. you know, i have thought about this for practically all my life. And the question i cannot answer is, why do we not do this?
What is it that, in the back of my mind, is preventing me from giving it all up and just going off to live peacefully until the end of my days?
Is it that i feel i have to accomplish something in my life?

huehuehua, i have neither nailed, nor gotten nailed by. Azzamatterofact, i think i've well past my nailing days.
You know, i don't think i've seen a single hooker in my entire stay, or at least, girls who were *obvious* hookers. And have not seen a single ladyboy.
I figure that all that gross seedy stuff we see on TV about thailand is all concentrated in Pattaya, where i choose not to go.

I did do the sexy thing when i was younger, although i say, there was more supply than demand. I guess i've just goten to the point where i don't believe in the idea that finding a woman i love is possible. (sad face)

I know that its not all amazing. There are some real drawbacks. Do you know why Buddhist monks wear orange robes? One of the reasons is so when wild animals see the orange they associate it with fire. So, it keeps that monks safe. Has that been proven though? I know a Buddhist monk in India was eaten by a tiger a few years ago. And, the thought of never having sex again. Yea, that sucks big time. Ha.

You would really have to be a special type of person to leave everything behind to become a monk, or a nun. The Buddhist association in Thailand have yearly retreats. You don't have to commit your life as a Buddhist monk. A year would be an adventure. The personal growth that would come out of something like that would be unlike anything else. That if you could even last a full year.
