The front looks nice, but the back looks weird. Top down looks nice, top up not so much.

Looks like that hideous Camry Solara with that huge trunk. Somehow BMW managed to avoid that with 3series droptop. Lexus just isn't very good at convertibles for some reason.
I mean they totally blew the SC430 too, you really gotta work hard to make a RWD V8 Roadster boring, but they managed.

IMO Lexus doesn't do style, if that makes sense. They make VERY well engineered and built conveyances. Their best cars don't aspire to be thrilling, just competent. The SC300 and SC400 were the last stylish Lexi that I found appealing in any way - the SC430 is awful, and the IS-F just leaves me cold when compared to its market-segment peers. The IS convertible is kind of like the Camry Solara convertible - made for real estate agents and the like.
