I'm giving one of my old systems to a friend who really needs it (his system is even older and is dying) but I have two AGP cards, and I want to know which card is better.
I have a Geforce2 MX400 with 64MB of SDRAM
and a Matrox card that I think is a Millenium G450 (there's no label on the card, but Knoppix's hardware detection loads the G400/G450 driver) it does have the Matrox logo, and dual VGA out.

So, which card is better in terms of gaming performance?
I've heard good and bad things about Matrox cards and gaming, and I used to use my Geforce2 for gaming, so I know it's performance (not too bad, but not great)
The games that'd be mostly played are half-life1 (and associated mods), and similar games from that era.

hehe i was going to reply geforce 2 mx is better since i used to play most games @ 1024x768 with a 1ghz P3, 512mb (pre 2001 of course).
