The Harley that many stars are autographing on Leno is up for auction on ebay

Link

You think it will be some unknown person winning the auction or a celebrity?

The last one he auctioned went for over $360k.

It'll be funny when the buyer washes it for the first time and all the ink runs off.

What a waste of a bike. Don't get me wrong, it's a good cause... but a sad waste of a bike.

If I had it the first thing I would do is wash it.

Well, you have to remember the cause of selling the bike in the first place. If you were to buy a bike, I doubt you'd even look at this one, but buy yourself one brand new for a whole lot cheaper.

Definitely not a sad waste, as there are many more Harley's out there for you to ride besides this one.

I'm sorry, but I don't think vehicles should ever be museum pieces that are never driven. I just think it's a waste.

Should send them an email that all your funds are tied up in Oil in Africa so you'll send them a check for $750,000 and then can Western Union you the changes when they send the bike....

if your gonna donate, then donate. But auctioning off items is a cop out. like the williams sisters, lets go through our garage and find some crappy rackets and autograph them an auction them off. and i'm supposed to give them credit for that, dont think so....sandra bullock (sp?) gave a million dollars, now thats a donation, and many others have done the same.....its funny to see people getting recognized for deeds when they put no effort or care into it.......harley prolly gave the bike away for free for this event just to get their name in the mix and all the actors that are all to cheap to donate cash are comming outta the wood work to sign it.........The only one who actually did something in the end is the person who actually purchased the bike, everyone else is just there to get their name said

pfft. at least they are doing something. IF people are stupid enough to purchase something just because someone famous signed for it then great!

What if they donated cash AND signed?

Wanna bet many, if not most of them, including Leno, did just that?

I'm as anti-Hollywood and anti-star as the next guy. But fair is fair and assumtions are not fair.

im not sure which is worse. what you describe, or someone willing to pay for that tripe instead of directly donating the money.
