I must say that movie looks pretty darn cheesy, but not nearly as cheesy as the super mario brothers movie. Its also due on 1 April, 2009, so that could be a big clue.

On the other hand, for a hoax its pretty damn elaborate.

Given the complete lack of original ideas from Hollywood lately and the fact that so many comic books and video games have been making good money when converted to movies, I am tempted to believe this is real.
Designed for the kiddies, yes, but not suprising they would finally go this far to make a buck.
