The League & Sunny in Philly

I'm a huge fan of the show, but I have to admit I haven't been fully keeping up on Always Sunny. I saw the trailer where they're replacing the cast. Is that just a goofy season promo, or are they actually doing that this season? I can actually see them doing that, just to fuck with their audience. 😀
 
Sunny is awesome, but has The League gotten less stupid since its first season? I watched a couple of episodes and it was just really bad.

did you only watch the first couple of episodes from the first season? imho, they were actually not that good but they are not representative of the rest of the season, or of the following season. it gets much better after like the fourth episode from S1 i think.

it's sort of like the actors weren't used to working with each other and everything seemed really flat but then they eventually all hit their stride with timing and such.

Ah...I watched one of the first (possibly THE first? not sure) and the season finale. I mostly just remember a guy at his divorce proceedings and it was supposed to be sooo funny that he was more interested in a text message bout Ben Roethlisberger getting injured than said proceedings.
 
if you like taco, he has some hilarious songs on youtube, including "show me your genitals" and "e=mc vagina" as well as "i don't give a fuck".

the league is probably my wife and my favorite comedy on tv.
 
FYI...The League Season 3 just hit Netflix streaming today! Figured I'd post it here instead of the Netflix thread.
 
the league was great last night, i love that show man. the writing on that show is just great and the actors deliver perfect. shiva is hot as shit too!

always sunny on the other hand, i didn't find myself laughing very much at all in the episode. i don't know what it is but the recent seasons just don't do it for me like the first seasons do. i think part of me was hoping for a real episode with xzibit and the rest of the fake cast. definitely would have been funnier than the episode they had.

also, props for rg3 and jerry jones acting. they actually looked like they can act, unlike the other football players on the show.
 
Woke up this morning and saw my TiVo caught The League and was so excited. Can't wait to go home and watch it. IMO the best currently running comedy show on TV.
