The LeadTek AGP 6800GT Heatsink

Does anyone know how to take apart the heatsink on the LeadTek 6800GT? Or maybe know where there is a guide to show how to do it? My card needs a good cleaning and some AS5, and I can't figure out how to take this beast of a heatsink off.

Why do u need cleaning and AS-5?

anyway look carefully on the back side, u will have unscrew the front HSF which is connected to the back side HSF.

I do not own this card but its not a problem. I don't think there is any guide to take off that heat sink. Look forscrews or pegs.

Ok thanks.

I need the cleaning because dust is building up pretty badly in there. I bought the card when it first came out (I felt like a retard two months later) and I just left the stock compound on there, and havent really kept up on clearing away dust.

I'll be replacing the HS with an NV Silencer 5 (Rev 2) because it's summer time here in California, and my case temps have gone through the roof, and I think exhausting system on the Silencer should help a bit.

ooh, its summer in florida, buddy. it shouldn't be that hot there because i goes to 100 often in the summer hear. but still the nv silencer is good, but i think the zalman does a btter job at cooling the gpu.
