I don't mind going to the laundry mat. The wait though is a pain in the ass but thank god for my mp3 player. I hate it when it's crowded and everyone is fighting for a washer or dryer.

btw, this one kid a few days ago was trying to fit himself in a dryer. The parents didn't seem to mind.

There not that bad. The last time I went to one was about 5 years ago when I moved into a new apartment, I didn't have my washign machine with me.

Don't overload. The dryer never completely dries towels. And do find one that is less crowded.

I think the laundry mat near me is slightly cheaper than doing laundry in my apartment building.

save it for the big items, that get too much abuse when using washer at home: sleeping bags, large comforters, rugs, ect. Not too bad for me; drop off several loads, get machines started, then return after running other errands.
