The latest Windows Update made Aero go away

I just updated Windows and now the option for the Aero theme is gone. I've recalculated my performance numbers and it didn't give me Aero. I've been running Aero on this laptop for the past year with no problem.

Any ideas?

Do you have integrated graphics card by any chance?

Yeah, I have the Mobile Intel 965

Check to see if the update installed a newer graphics driver. I know before it was mainly driver issues that caused the problem. Try uninstalling the update if you know which one it is, or do a System Restore.
