I'm pretty sure I've seen it three times in the last week. Personally I would reserve it for someone who planned the successful kidnap of a developed country's premier or brought a country's banking system to a standstill by hitting many points of networks at once or something.
Or, if the media insists on using such words, perhaps this world needs a supervillain in order to justify their use. I want to see at least one television channel hijacking with one of their announcements, including the word "Bwahahaha".
I'll continue drinking my beer now.
