I thought The Illusionist was excellent. Departed gets a secondary vote also.

I have no idea why people think V for Vendetta was any good. It was full of plotholes, and way too visionary-like. It was a child's story told in an adult scale or something. It was an OK movie at best. It wasn't something "GREAT."

Anyways, I have to say ILLUSIONIST.

It really is an excellent movie no matter how you slice it, but it's a movie you'll either love or hate.
