You do realize I am blaming both parties?

You also realize Obama is planning on taking executive action to further his immigration goals?
What choice does he have when the current policy is unworkable and Congress does nothing?

My my, aren't you the optimist. Hehe
The Clintons have already exploited this flaw within the GOP structure to win the White House twice before.
I predict that if Hillary picks Bernie as her running mate she'll win the popular in a landslide.

So his only choice is to expand the program that puts hundreds of thousands of American jobs under the knife?

Really?
To paraphrase Springsteen, those jobs are already gone and they're not coming back.
Time to cut your losses rather than clinging to the past.

Lol. Yeah, they are gone because people with money bought the lawmakers and president to make them gone.

But that is the dems paradise. Everybody on welfare.

That rhetoric is really one of the stupidest straw men in American politics today.
The problem, in my experience, with the nut job crowd is that they have a fundamental misunderstanding of capitalism. They believe that income is weath, when actually income is how one pays debts. Assets are wealth. That's why we call it capitalism and not income-ism or something like that.

Which is why the prog disdain for "blue collar" work is funny. Because without those there is no middle class. As evidenced by the massive off shoring and on shoring of h1b and h2b. Then both parties promise education is the way, however, a huge slice of the population do not belong in higher education and there aren't enough jobs there anyway. So they get worthless degrees for service jobs, because many higher education jobs are h1b'd away (disney). They are stuck in service because the "crummy blue collar" jobs are offshored. So now you have 50k in student loans, work as a barista, and vote dem as social justice warrior because you think the reps fucked you, even though, in reality, both parties sold you out. Why? Because they could, so they could get high end revolving door jobs.

Meanwhile fools like you scream "assets are wealth!" When those people have no hope of getting income or wealth. No income because the "blue collar shit jobs" you sneer at, are gone and no assets because the meager amount of money they do make from being a barista with a PhD in literature requires them to pay all disposable income to their federal loans for the next 20 years until they can be forgiven. Then, since the interest is being capitalized (payment isn't enough to even cover interest), and Congress doesn't give a fuck, you are stuck with 100k in "income" from your forgiven loan, which you have to pay 20k in taxes on 20 years from now.

30% of the department of education Direct Loan program is on an income based repayment. That means that scenario above, which you so greedily advocate for, is occurring for 30% of the population. Mainly because you hate working class people.

Accumulate assets? Rofl, get the fuck outta here you clueless twat.

The hell of it is, the OP is so close, yet so far from the truth. If anything the Democrats are becoming the Republican party. We have the right wing, and crazy wing wing to choose from.

There is one party, the corporatist party.

"Couldn't make any progress in the right direction because of the other party.. so instead we multiplied the progress in the other direction just so we can say we got something done" That is some SOUND fucking logic.

No kidding.. every day I am astounded by the mental blocks that party bias has on people, it is especially sad when it's been so self-destructive.

I have no respect for hypocrites that say "we can do anything we want to do in the world!!!.. well except for bring back jobs to Americans" Oh no anything but something that requires INTEGRITY!!

Obama is as corporate as it gets and Hillary will be the same, Sanders at least has the backbone to tell corporations to suck it, just as Teddy Roosevelt did to JP Morgan.

My votes will only go to the middle class, even if I have to write it in.

Yup. If Bernie loses the nomination I am going to be voting for Jill Stein of the green party. It's more or less a wasted vote, but I refuse to vote for Shillary, especially after this latest DNC fiasco. The corruption is so bad, on both sides, it's absolutely sickening.

Who better to ensure there will be no major war than the guy who has the most to lose?

He has the most to gain.. who cares if a few Americans die in some wars.. the good news is they'll want Trump Hotel and Casino on the backs of cheap foreign labor and then the millionaires and billionaires will be customers. And the best part is no US Taxes in the middle east after paying off a few politicians to bend the laws.

Who better to ensure this is true than Trump indeed!

What you don't get is Trump doesn't own anything, he just has his name on everything that's built and he sells it off with a license to his name. That's his excuse for when things go wrong. If you think I'm full of bullshit, look up the 4 bankruptcies that he filed for.

In all honesty, I'm concerned that the GOP is plotting a military coup if the Democrats win in November. Pretty much all the pieces are already in place for them to do so.

Trump ALREADY SAID (and many his supporters already think/said) that if the Dems win it "will be because of voter fraud" and because "the system is rigged".

THIS is the actual, real mind-set of those people who believe that the current prez is a Kenyan Mulsim, uses a fake birth certificate, is actually not rightfully elected.

I don't know about "military coup", but what I know is that Trump WILL be the worst loser in US politics history. You know this, I know that.

If there is a percentage of crazies NOW who is convinced that Obama is not rightfully elected and "they truckin' in illegals to get votes", you can imagine what will happen if Trump loses.

* --> I remember fricking Trump freaking on TV some years ago on election day when the Dems won, what for him and most reps was ENTIRELY UNEXPECTED due to their delusions and how far they're off reality.

Now this same guy is the candidate.

You do the math.

Do you and anyone else here think Trump is the guy who'll simply concede when he'll lose? He won't. This I know. This guy and many of those types of people are NUTS.

Whether it'll result in an actual "coup" I don't know, but it'll result in something. In the best case scenario an even bigger divide between the left/right...as if this is not big enough already...

I know what he has filed for, and I know what he does, and I have no problem with it. He does have man properties, including golf courses, and he does license a lot. So what?

His bankruptcies had nothing to do with license agreements, IIRC all were his corporation's properties, where he owned equity, not licenses. Many people who are considered adroit financial titans have used bankruptcy. Again, so what?

I work in finance and I see no problem with it. Investing is a two way street.

I work in finance and have all my life and I see a problem with the GOP and especially Trump everyday.

Everyday at work, people talk. No one wants to invest with Trump much less vote for him.

LOL - people would buy his bonds. Anybody would. Most in finance, especially investments, have a short memory once the coupon on a bond is high enough.

Look at Latin America. Nobody has learned, ever, that you get fucked by Latin American countries and companies and yet, every time, everybody is shocked, SHOCKED I tell you, when a LA country screws them, again. How many HY funds got burned by Energy, or how many IG funds get hit by the same. Same shit, different day. There are no bad bonds, just bad prices. At least thats what they tell themselves when their salesman is on the phone hocking bonds.

Yeah, people talk, but when they do it anonymously, they vote for Trump at much higher levels. Why? Because they know what he says about much of what is going on is true, they just won't admit it publicly. It's why he polls 10% higher among college educated men when it is anonymous.
