Her job is actually fairly important to the lotto company if you think about it. Part of her job is to get people excited about the lottery so they buy tickets. If she can do that, she's worth every penny.

If they ever fired her, the NY lotto commission would lose millions in sales. Seriously, she's THAT popular to the locals.
