The lack of a horizontal scroll makes hiding my forum browsing at work difficult

I have my browser in a small window. The old forums would allow me to scroll left and right. Now I'm forced to increase the width of the browser window. This makes it difficult for doing important forum surfing while at work. Please correct this.
