Not like this is news but a little more in depth.

afpfoxnewspost-topkoch.jpg

At least 15 Fox News hosts and contributors have recently campaigned with two political organizations created and heavily funded by billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch. Many of those same Fox News personalities have also defended the Kochs from attacks and praised their political efforts on-air.

The controversial conservative brothers founded the 501(c)(4) group Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and its 501(c)(3) sister group the Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF) in 2004. David Koch has called AFP the group he feels "most closely attached to and most proud of" and chairs AFPF's board. (The Washington Post notes of the IRS code distinction: "A 501(c)(4) is allowed to do considerably more issue advocacy work than a 501(C)(3), however. Neither group has to disclose the identity of its donors or the amounts of money those contributors have given.") More

It's only reprehensible when conservatives do this silly. Liberals know the importance of raising campaign money and don't especially like it when conservatives get serious about playing that game as well. Meanwhile Obama is attending an unprecented number of fundraisers. I smell fear.

Both sides are guilty of it, come on. I don't play these partisan games like most people on here. The Koch Bro's are just the most recent flavor of conservatives to be in the spot light for trying to buy elections/politicians.

Can you imagine if a CNN anchor was a spokesman for the DNC? Fox News would go berserk attacking him or her.

I think the funny part is the Kochs basically want no government. They're actually for things like gay marriage. The current GOP and Fox News is all about big government.

I only made it to the Koch brothers part and I am filled with so much rage I can hardly even reply!

Fox News favorably reports on people who are likely to donate to them? Holy shit! That really is breaking news! I'm sure no liberal slanted media outlet has ever done such a thing.

Why wouldn't, or shouldn't, those Fox News personalities listed appear at a political event?

Those named are not journalists. They are political commentators who exist for nothing more than sharing (or promoting) their political opinion. How is it any different then them selling and promoting books touting their political beliefs?

Did you similarly complain, for example, when Chris Matthews was pimping hard for Obama?

The Brothers Koch have governors as employees. Of course they'll be ordering around lackeys within the noise machine.

And there it is. Fox picked those "News Personalities" precisely because they were already well know conservative mouthpieces. I'm sure it pays great & requires very little thinking to stick to the script & stay inside the bubble. Just blather the usual talking points in a convincing fashion for the Rubes to take in.
