Oh geez. One game and that dictates title contention? The lakers lost how many and are still considered title contenders?

no worries... lakers have lost a couple too... bottom line... sacto has a great overall team, la has two phenomenal superstars, and it's gonna be a good match in the playoffs...

oh, and the suns will be good too... M&M are playing well, throw in a penny and a high schooler, and phoenix could have a good future

Every team has a bad game.

My Knicks beat the Lakers, Kings, Pistons, Sixers and Spurs.

We've also lost to the Bulls, Grizzlies, and Heat

Good point, at least the Kings are losing to a playoff team. ;)

hahahaha..i'd much rather lose to the Suns than to the bulls. And if my memory serves me well, the Lakers have lost the season series to the bulls. At least the kings split the series with the Suns.

That said, King's greatly missed Vlade tonight. Without him, their offense fell way flat and the Suns just destroyed Sacramento in the inside game. As a kings fan, i'm not worried....king's just had an off night and the Suns played very well. But for those of you who think the kings aren't title contenders because of this game, then quit wasting my time. Sersiously, everybody knows how stupid of a statement is. Try being constructive next time.

you know, it doesn't really matter who the lakers lose to as long as they stay in the playoffs... all the other teams being hot and whatnot, you know in the back of their minds, they're still thinking, oh sh!t, it's the lakers, how to stop kobe or shaq?

Why do they call him the Matrix anyways?

Have you seen him jump? He's got amazing hang time.

oooohh...ok.
Anybody notice they don't have nicknames for players like they used to, or at least as many as they used to?
Sure we have The Answer or The Matrix, but remember old ones like The Mailman, Dr. J, etc?
