let me guess, the owner is asian??

😀😀

I don't get it.

stereotypical asian parents giving their children fancy cars

Hmm... never heard that stereotype. Most asian parents I know are cheap, and i thot that was the stereotype. Haha, I'm getting my parent's old '94 Volvo that breaks down every now and then, but a car's a car.

well, if were going to talk about occasional driving of parents cars, then at my school, we got 7-series (mostly 745Li), E55 AMG (my neighbor; he's given me a ride in it 😀), and S-Class (500, 55)

Most of those rich kids won't study hard enough in h.s. They'll barely crack community college and *POOF* there goes the money as the parents won't support them in perpetuity. I've seen this happen dozens of times.

.....While the poor hard-working kids crank out the grades and get a good college/job. Then they'll be driving the Hummer...for life....while that h.s kid is now driiving a Daihatsu....for life. 😉

EDIT: The only example I saw where this didn't pan out like is the daughter of the ex-President of Mexico. She drove a red Lamborghini to school every day (at 16 she drove a top-line Mercedes Convertible until she got bored with it) and ended up marrying a European Prince at 18. She was really hot as well. Some people have all the luck. 😕

That's nothing. Kids at my school had significantly better cars than the teachers. It was sad. Hummers (Both H1 and H2), Escalades, Jags, BMW's were nothing out of the ordinary in out lot. They were just common cars. There were still lotta junkers, but seeing the cars was just like, "oh, it's a new H2. whoop dee do"

My bf's parents bought him a 90K house and a car. That's where I live now. 🙂 Never got a dime from my parents to help with anything.

H2s are sh!t. 😛

I don't think they have to worry about that. It's not like their parents are going to abandon them after college. Even if they're morons, I'm sure the parent's have enough connections to get them a nice job.
