Yup, people here can't drive.

Yesterday began so well too. Closed on a nice condo and was headed back into the city when I ran into the usual traffic on Route 128/I-95 South. Then suddenly WHAM. I get creamed from behind by a truck. Turns out the driver was not paying attention and didn't seem to realize that traffic was only moving around 15 - 20MPH. I'm a bit sore but walked away injury free. The passengers in the truck that hit me were surprised there wasn't more damage. Today was spent filling out accident reports and getting in touch with body shops.

Well...at least he was insured.

I'd hate to see the repair bill on that. Poor BMW :(

I hate every time that I have to leave Vermont (and all the visitors from Taxachusetts) to go down to Mass for meetings. Sorry to hear about your car though.

Thanks for everyone's concern. I'm fine, just a little sore.

BTW, here is more evidence why Massachuetts is an awful place to drive. Each year, you must pay an excise tax on the value of your vehicle. Look at the following and tell me what is wrong:

Who qualifies for an exemption?
Those listed below qualify for an exemption.

Blind:
permanent impairment of vision in both eyes
must own and register for their own personal use
must submit either a certificate from the Division of the Blind or a physician's letter
once a certificate has been submitted, you need only to file a yearly application.

That is no joke people. I copied and pasted those exact words from an official state website.

Oh Klee, I was back in Canada last month but had a Canadian Nav CD. No more getting lost.

Windogg: I am glad that you were not injuried. I what you mean when you say people there can't drive. I drive everyday from Nashua,Nh on Rte 3 to 128 to 2 to Alewife. I have been in soo many near misses and almost being side swiped several times. I always am watching what the other people on the road are doing because people can't drive.:disgust:

Ohhh dear. I'm beginning to think even Canada is better than the twilight zone you call a state. Glad to see you're not hurt.
