I do hope that people realize should Joe Biden become the next president that Joe may witness the termination of Obamacare. Yes, Joe Biden could be elected even while the current Trump US Supreme Court kills off the ACA in June of 2021, and so what would Joe do? What would a "hopefully" democratic controlled senate do? And, what would a republican controlled senate refuse to do regardless of a president Biden? This could be Obama and 2010 all over again. It is more likely than not the ACA will go away and all of the protections from the ACA will also go away come next June, and so Joe Biden and the democrats will have to begin all over again from the very start to create and enact a new ACA replacement healthcare system. Should democrats control the senate with a Joe Biden presidency, this could be very good news for America. We could get a new healthcare plan that actually does give America universal healthcare for all and once and for all. But all this with assuming that Joe Biden will be president come June of 2021, and assuming the high Trump court (high on power) will eliminate Obamacare also in June of 2021. Joe Biden will have a big decision to make and an incredible opportunity. But again, even if Joe wins the presidency yet the republicans hold onto the senate, America will be in the same boat that America was in before Obamacare. Insurance companies running amuck, with outrageous insurance premiums that no one can afford, and drug costs reaching up to the stars. I do hope that Joe Biden and the newly elected democratic senate realize they will have to recreate an entire healthcare system all over again, from scratch, and I hope Joe Biden and the Democrats will take full advantage of that opportunity.

Notwithstanding the fact that the USSC should overturn the Texas ruling based on standing, IF Biden is elected and has a Democrat majority Senate then one of their first pieces of legislation should be to amend the tax penalty to $1. Only takes a simple majority of each chamber plus the President's signature and immediately renders the lawsuit moot. They can get ahead of a USSC ruling because any opinions likely wouldn't be issued for months after the newly electeds are sworn in (the USSC took Texas as part of the regular docket and not fast-tracked).

Unfortunately I think we might need some pain as a country to get back to an honest conversation about how we pay for healthcare. We need some form of national healthcare like all our peer counties have. We need a large majority of support for this and to many people have been brainwashed for that to happen in the near future. For the long term good of the American people we might need to let the right eff people over now.
