The Job and the car.

I got a job, which I accepted. I am going to either start in June or sometime next month depending on when they can get me in. The job is mine though for sure.

I need to apply for a loan to get some cash to buy a car. On the loan application, I need to put in employment info.. Can I use these guys as a reference? Or is that not correct until I actually start the job. I have a copy of the offer letter that I signed as proof that I will be working here.

Any ethical issues involved here? Can I use them as a reference? Should I ask the company? Anyone? It's an Acura 3.0 CL by the way going dirt cheap.

Ask the loan officer, that's a perfectly legitimate question. I would not put your future boss as a reference before first asking him/her.
