Japan Has McDonalds French Fry Holders For Their Cars AND WE DON'T

This country is no stranger to fast food innovations, like Cinnabon Chillatas or boneless fried chicken chunks. But it appears we've been totally beaten to the punch by our brothers across the Pacific, because McDonalds Japan just unveiled french fry cup holders for cars, and they're not available in America. Is this the thanks we get for inventing the McRib?

This snazzy little fry-holder, available to McDonalds Japan customers starting April 24th, is shaped like a classic red McDonalds container, except the cup is plastic and the golden arches seem to be on wheels. And it's convenient for fry-eaters on the go, clipping onto your dashboard so you don't have to hold fries on your lap as you cruise down the Shuto Expressway. The holder is free with a purchase of an extra-value meal and large fries, and it'll be available in Japan through the end of May. But again, how is this not available here yet?? This is the land of big cars and big people, and we shall not stand for this—we demand fry-holders, McDonalds, and they better be SUPERSIZED.

I'm not sure what's scarier, that they exist or, that someone goes to McD's often enough to make it useful.

This is actually pretty genius. lol. They need to make a hamburger holder too, it would be something that goes on the steering wheel and keeps it close to your mouth. If you need to attack the burger at an odd angle because a pickle or something is about to fall out, you can always steer the wheel accordingly...SHIT, TRANSPORT!

They are so busy in Japan that they actually have to invent stuff like that. You do not want to be in Japan :awe:

Meh. It's a waste of plastic that belongs in my fuel tank. I'm good with wedging them between my legs. It's not like thy last long anyway.

Burger Kings fry boxes are round to fit in standard cup holders and have vents on them to prevent condensation build up thereby causing the frys in the bottom to get soggy.

Now that is some serious engineering!

To think, there are probably fast food container engineers who sat around a table to design something like this and performed experiments over the course of months to come up with the best solution to the condensation problem. Serious business!

I never did like how their fry containers are designed to lose tiny fries through the bottom and get salt all over you.

I like Chick-Fil-A fries...but they're rarely done right.
