I hardly heard about it when it was in theaters. Did it do well? Its probably one of the better movies I've ever seen.

It was pretty funny how some clones that have no idea about the world come out and kick some major ass.

Oh and I have a new love for Scarlett Johansen
 
This movie bombed in the box office.

Critics bashed it. Wasn't it by Michael Bay? I know it was hyped a great deal, had an interesting concept and a decent cast.

Somewhere, something went amiss.
 
i agree with the OP

i watched it expecting it to be horrible. however i was very surprised at how badass the movie was. the story is a great story as well.

my gf and brother both felt the same way. great movie and i strongly recommend it!

oh and yes, that chick is VERY VERY hot.
 
Really? I thought this movie was alot better than most of the movies that come out these days. Maybe one factor as to why I enjoyed it was because I went in knowing or hearing anything about it.
 
Pure crap. Other than Scarlett the movie has little to recommend it. Even if you enjoy the all action-zero brains-maximum noise style of Michael Bay movies, The Island wasn't even a particularly good Michael Bay movie.
 
the problem was the movie showed the whole story in the trailer. i mean i was watching the movie and i was like wtf this was all in the trailer.

plus the ending was way too cheesy.

Just watched it last weekend and loved it! Great action, concept, cast, twists, and plot. I just wish I saw it on the big screen. Some parts were merely impossible but they covered it up with few jokes which was great. Oh yea...Scarlet is so freaken hot which made the movie even better.

It's the attack of the clones! :laugh: I was laughing my ass off at the ending. I didnt know if I was supposed to be happy for the clones or not. Some parts of the movie shows that the writer doesn't really care about clone human rights.

I agree with you completely. The movie rocked, and Scarlett is a hottie. I've yet to see a Michael Bay film I didn't like, this one was one of his better flicks. See it before you judge it
 
I liked it a lot. Is aw it in a preview thing at the theater before it came out. I thought it was pretty much non-stop action. Really good flick to just watch and enjoy.
