The Irony of it all...

Not only is that terrible, but it serves to emphasize the need for some continuity in our country for laws and penalties that are executed the same no matter what state you happen to be in. There are people on death-row who are guilty(hopefully) of offenses far less heinous. :disgust:
 
ironic, indeed.

But it should be noted, that I talked to some lawyer friends, and they said that *if* they even got it into court, the actual punishment would be much less.

It might be lower, but I think the prosecuters are really abusing the legal system if that is the charge.
